I’m respectful. I mostly stay to myself. I’m not a drinker. I do smoke but it doesn’t bother me to go outside and smoke. It’s not a problem for me if others drink or party. I don’t leave messes behind me for someone else to clean up. I clean toilets, showers and bathroom sinks when they need it. I wash my own cookware and dishes after i use it. If I see that a trash can is full I’ll take it out and replace the bag. I’m well versed in auto, home & major appliance repairs. For a couple years during Covid-19 I performed electrical & plumbing work and appliance repair online thru a handyman search tool. During that two year period and more than 100 customers my review ratng never dropped below 5 stars. I can assist with some types of yard or outside projects. Unfortunately, due to medical conditions, I can not help with shoveling snow, digging holes or any other very strenuous physical activity.
I’m a veteran on disability. I served in the US Navy for 16 years as a Machinist Mate First Class until 9/11. I’ve worked as an electromechanic, maintenance technician, and industrial electrician for injection molding manufacturers in the automotive supply industry. More recently as a field service technician building & maintaining specialized fuel vapor recovery equipment & combustion units in fuel terminals all over the country.. I know this isn’t a resume for work. The reason I mention my past employment is not to brag but because my experience and knowledge can be useful for someone who wants to learn or who just needs help getting something repaired. I can fix stuff and I’m happy to help or share what I know to anyone who will listen. I have tools! I drive a 4WD Suburban.If you leave and get stuck somewhere in a snow storm, I have straps and chains, you can call me any time day or night and I’ll come and try to pull you out or pick you up. If you break down I’ll try to help get you back on the road. If your vehicle becomes seriously disabled, I’ll help you get back and forth to work if needed. The point is you’re getting more than just the rent with me as a roommate. You’re getting a new friend who’s grateful for the roof over his head and who will help you if and when you need it.
