I am a student at NIU and am looking to save money and to shorten my commute. I work full time on the weekends and will be gone every weekend but there weekdays. I love to go to the gym on my free time and also love to watch shows. I am very particular when it comes to having my own things and will prefer we split the bills but not everything else we get. For example: food, containers, certain pots and pans if they are newer. I believe in a clean kitchen before bed and no dishes left in the sink by the end of the night. It’s good to ask before taking or touching the other persons things. If you use up tissue it’s common sense to replace it if you used it last. No snacks left out on the table or counters. No dirt rings around the tub or shower. These are little things I look for in a roommate to be respectful of and things I’m respectful of.

I like to meal prep and would like space shared and split evenly in the fridge. I am very chill and mostly to myself but don’t mind having a roommate to do things with if they wanted to go to the gym or have dinner once a week together. Or game nights. I am supposed to graduate by 2027. So I would only need to sign a lease for a year. Before deciding 100 percent on the move in. I would definitely love to meet in person if an online chat about potentially moving in together goes well.
