I’m fairly easy going, for an old fart, and generally don’t have to be coaxed Into conversation, OR Out of one… too much. :-)

If you are Looking for someone to RENT your space, the best thing I’ll bring to any place I might live, is that I’ve BEEN a longtime Homeowner, myself. Why do you care about that? Even when I’ve lived in someone else’s place, they soon discovered that I instinctively look at everything, LIKE a homeowner: to be treated with respect & attended to, keeping mindful of issues that may need attention, not just when it bugs me, but ALSO as it would affect the Owner (as well as, ultimately, any other roommates), if not made aware of something that requires (or WILL require) maintenance, or addressing at some level. Even more so, if left unchecked, right?! Hey, you can ask, if you’d like: they’ll tell you.

On the other hand, any ‘Roomie’ who’s ALSO there, is either an Owner, OR another Guest, like me. So, we can afford each other some consideration, respect, privacy, and maybe grant a little slack, in a shared space. My mission would be, NOT to find myself as the one who doesn’t seem to realize, he’s regularly demanding too much slack from others! :-)
