I recently moved back to the United States after spending about ten years living in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m originally American, and that chapter abroad shaped me in a really meaningful way. It taught me independence, perspective, and how to appreciate different cultures and ways of living. Now I’m back in Florida and in a new season of life.

I own a condo in the Naples and Estero area, which I’m currently renting out, and I’m exploring Fort Lauderdale because it’s always been a place I’ve felt drawn to. I’m looking to rent a room for about a year while I experience the city and decide what I want my next couple of years to look like. I’m not in a rush to buy anything right now. I’d prefer something reasonable and comfortable while I settle in and see where life takes me.

Professionally, I’m established and financially stable. I work full time and live a structured, responsible lifestyle. I’m clean, organized, and respectful of shared spaces. I value peace at home. I’m not into drama, heavy partying, or chaos. Home to me is a place to recharge, think, and feel grounded.

Personally, I love gardening, cooking, being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and staying active. I enjoy studying, learning, and growing. I’m the type of person who is always trying to improve himself and understand the world a little better. I’ve lived abroad, managed businesses, and built things from the ground up, so I’m mature and grounded, but I’m also open, friendly, and curious about people from all backgrounds.

It would be great to not only share a space but also build a positive connection along the way. I respect boundaries, but I also value good conversation, shared meals sometimes, and genuine human connection.

At this stage in life, I’m simply looking for a healthy, calm, and comfortable place to live while I explore Fort Lauderdale and figure out my next chapter.
