Hey! Nice to meet you (sorta haha).

My name’s Andre — Dre for short. I’m someone who turned his creative hobbies into a career: photography, videography, marketing, racing simulators, and drumming. I recently got a job in the area and I’m looking to move somewhere quieter and more peaceful than the loud city life.

I really value a calm, respectful home. I’ve had my share of unclear boundaries and messy roommate situations in the past — and I’m very over that. I pride myself on being upfront, ethical, clean, and easy to communicate with.

Here’s what I’m like as a roommate:

• I mind my own business. Want to chat and hang sometimes? Great. Want to just head nod and keep it moving because we’re both busy? Also great. I respect space and independence.

• I’m clean and considerate. I keep shared spaces tidy, wash dishes promptly, and don’t leave messes behind. I believe a peaceful house starts with mutual respect.

• I communicate clearly. If something ever feels off, I’d rather talk it out calmly than let it build into tension. No weird energy, no passive aggression.

• I have two black cats — Nitrous and Boost. They’re super sweet and well-behaved. Nitrous is chunky, nervous, and a sweetheart. Boost is cuddly, adventurous, and LOVES belly rubs (must’ve been a dog in a past life — I’ve raised 20+ cats and he’s the first to demand belly rubs). I’m a responsible pet owner and keep their area clean. I’ve trained them not to scratch anything other than their posts.

• I play electronic drums — only during daytime hours and never past quiet hours. I’m very mindful of schedules and can easily plan around when you’re home or need quiet.

• I cook often and bake occasionally — and I usually share.

Overall, I’m financially responsible, creative but grounded, and I really just want a drama-free, respectful home environment where everyone feels comfortable.
