I’m a young professional who works for a small nonprofit. I am in a situation where I need to move before the end of April and cannot afford to live alone so I’m looking for 1-2 roommates or a situation where I can live alone in someone’s en suite or attached apartment.

I care about others and am empathetic, considerate, and generally a nonjudgmental person. I’m responsible and trustworthy, I pay my bills on time, and I clean up after myself regularly.

I like to keep quiet and usually only have one friend over at a time once every two to three weeks. I don’t do drugs or smoke, and I rarely drink alcohol. I would like my future roommates to be the same in that regard.

I have cookware, kitchenware, and living room furniture already. I love cats and have one cat of my own who is very shy but is a sweetheart when he warms up to you. He’s neutered and very well behaved. I’ve been a volunteer for over two years at the shelter I got him from. I do not want to live with dogs. I am not a dog person and my cat would be constantly terrified. However, if the room is an en suite or is in a basement level with it’s own entrance, then it’s perfectly fine if dogs live upstairs.

I’m LGBTQIA friendly, get along with all kinds of personality types, and am happy to spend time with roommates or keep to ourselves, whatever the other person is feeling. I love to go on hikes, cook, go to concerts, and do yoga and Pilates. I currently work remotely most of the week but if I move back to Cary, I’d be able to work in the office full time.
