About the two of us:

Delsin: Hello! I’m Del (they/she pronouns). I’m gonna be moving to the Portland area at the end of September/beginning of October and am teaming up with someone who already lives in Vancouver but is looking to find a new place when her lease is up in September. We’re wanting to try and find a third roomie on here so we can all get a place together! :) A little about me: I’m a social butterfly and love making new friends so if you’re looking for a roommate that wants to be friends and be more than just tenants sharing a space, I’m your gal! When I move I’m gonna be brand new to the area; all of my friends and family live in Florida, Minnesota, and North Carolina. So I’d love to make friends with people and get involved in local communities. I’m currently an online student getting my bachelor’s in psychology, only have a year left! I love movies, tv shows, books, anything horror-related, and archery. I’m also a huge nerd; I play DnD and love video games and comics. I don’t smoke and rarely drink (I don’t mind people who do, I’m just not a partaker!), I’m clean, respectful, good at compromise and am a very open communicator; if there’s any kind of issue as roommates, we should sit down and talk it out! I have a cat named Cleo who is very sweet and affectionate. If you vape that’s fine, weed might or might not be okay depending on your smoking habits (I can’t be around the smell). I’m a practicing celtic pagan witch and decorate both my room and the public areas with various witchy things like crystals, witches bells, and a protection altar by the front door, so it’s important that you’re okay with that! I’m also a tarot reader and professional astrologer :)

Ébony (she/they): I’m a 24 year old multidisciplinary creative, but also a visual artist, burlesque dancer, and overall lover of self-expression, storytelling, and community. Art tends to find its way into most parts of my life, and my living space usually reflects that creative energy through decor, music, little projects, and constantly rearranging things until it feels good :D As a roommate, I value a home that feels warm, welcoming, expressive, and lived in rather than overly rigid. I genuinely enjoy friendly roommate dynamics! Chatting in shared spaces, occasionally hanging out or inviting roommates to events, while also fully respecting personal space and downtime when needed. Like many creatives, my workspace can sometimes get a little chaotic during projects, though I do try my best to keep shared areas comfortable, cared for, and clean. I am very self-aware, communicative, and appreciate open, respectful living enviornments where everyone can comfortable be themselves. I also come with two kitties named Luna and Fluffy, both very friendly! Luna the orange cat really loves pets but you never have to feel obligated to and Fluffy is most likely going to just run away!

Because we already have 3 cats between the two of us, we wouldn’t be able to bring in a person who has a cat or dog. Terrarium pets like reptiles or fish are fine though! No couples please, must be 21+, must be LGBTQ+ friendly, and must have a reliable source of income. We are also both very spiritual people so it’s very important you are able to respect our beliefs and practices.
