I’m quiet, hard working, and don’t mind doing chores around the house. I recently sold my house in Somerset, KY and am moving to Lexington. I had lived in my former house since graduating from EKU in 1992. I have two children (both grown). My oldest, Isabella, currently resides in Boston, MA working. She is a somewhat recent master’s degree graduate from Harvard. My younger child, Jackson, is currently a senior, graduating in the spring from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, he will be moving to New York to work in the music production industry. Lastly, I sold the bulk of a company (Valley Oil Group) which I started in 1997 to a group of investors. I still maintain a partial (51 %) ownership of Blaze Valley Corporation, a real estate development company which I began in 1993. All can be verified on the Secretary of State’s website at SOS.KY.GOV. My ex wife and have decided to (amicably) divorce after 32 years of marriage. Empty nest syndrome I guess, and we BOTH decided divorce was our best option in order to keep the peace with each other and the family as a whole. Neither of the above mentioned children have any intention of returning to Somerset. So, in short, I will moving to Washington D.C. sometime in the fall of 2026 to take a job as a lobbyist with a PR firm in Alexandria, VA at that time. I will be replacing someone who is retiring after October 31st from the firm.
