Hey Friends,

Thanks for checking out my ad. I am currently in search of a new living situation and looking at the option of a finding a roommate and a house or some type of shared house situation where I can rent a room and garage.

Me, a youthful 48-year-old single hetero male. I am a fun creative individual that is fully employed, clean, and pretty much drama free. I work as an independent contractor doing home repair and remodel and have a woodworking business that I will need to operate out of the home. The reason I am looking for a house is so that I can use the garage as my woodshop. Some of the ways I spend my time are disc golfing, spending time with friends and family, woodworking, spending time outdoors. I work a lot and usually am very active outside of work. I like to cook, grill out, and listen to music, watch football and movies, and make stuff. I have no criminal record, no evictions, no hard drugs, not a drunk, no kids, and no pets.

What I am looking for in a housemate…. Ideally, I’d like to find another clean, responsible, and stable adult (male or female) to share a house with. If I have to clean up after you, remind you to pay rent and bills, or if you use hard drugs or drink too much, please don’t inquire. You can be who you want, it doesn’t bother me if you are very social or not, just want the space to be clean, peaceful, and comfortable to communicate.

What I am hopeful to find in a house…. -Ideally a two-car garage that I can do my woodworking out of. How does this impact the house? I will be spending time working outside, but I am completely respectful of other’s sleep and schedule. It sounds like a lot, but all my housemates have loved watching the creative process happen and sometimes join in with projects of their own. -Located somewhat central in the 275 loop. I am flexible with this, but basically being somewhat centrally located in the loop is best for my business. -Located in walking distance of cool stuff. Hopeful, I love to walk around…. -Enough bedrooms to have an office space. I am asking for use of the garage, so you will have preference on bedrooms, but hopefully there will be enough space to have a small office/shared space/guest bedroom.
