Very disciplined but easy going 63 year old guy I have participated in endurance racing since 1987… Have trained hundreds of age group triathletes…RN for 30yrs…peace corps…. medical missions,,,,, homesteaded livestock and crops for 10 years…love love love to garden! For the last two years(semi-retirement gig)… I have managed over 100 kids along a 42 mile stretch of Alabama and Florida beaches..I’m certainly planning ahead!!!!lol! But once this current 2026 beach season is done, my hope is to never work again! I plan to be on the big island for a minimum of 4 months… And I’m certainly open to long-term but must see how it goes. My ideal day? swim bike, run, a big lunch and nap, otherwise hanging out or surfing in the evenings. I would sleep nights and B-gone most of day every day.
