Hi, my name is April and I’m just a mama who’s starting the 2nd half of life as an empty nester. I will be new to North Dakota from Iowa. I have worked for the Federal Prison system and Homeland security for over 8 years. Ive been divorced now for about 4 yrs and am relocating to Grand Forks to feel out the area and make some future decisions about a new relationship. Because my faith is important to me I don’t believe in living with someone I’m just dating but also don’t want to pour money into an expensive lease that I’d be locked into for years so this seems like a viable option. I don’t require much space, just a room and use of a bathroom. I’m 46, have two adult “kids” who are building their lives after college so I am at an empty nest stage and work full time remotely. I’m responsible, friendly and I’d barely be present other than nighttime most often. I do a lot of christian missions as well so often i will be gone a few weeks at a time. I have tons of personal references to include where I rent now so that can be provided easily.
