Anja

Hi there! I’m Anja (she/they)! I’m a young professional in the process of shifting my focus from Mental Health Counseling to Cultural Anthropology. I’m looking for housing in the Twin Cities area as I explore graduate school and new job opportunities.

My hobbies walk a fine line between my introverted and extroverted whims. In my free time, you can usually find me doing outdoor activities (running, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, birding, etc.), reading books about social justice or biodiversity, cooking low-carb recipes, and dabbling in various art forms. I’m also an avid writer and have ambitions to publish a book someday. When I feel more extroverted, it’s in a calm and observant way. I prefer socializing outside of the house and treat my home as a quiet sanctuary for recharging. I enjoy people watching at new cafes, engaging in political activism events for human rights, having deep philosophical discussions about the state of the world, and using the buddy system to explore all the Twin Cities have to offer.

In my day-to-day life, I’m clean, organized, and mindful of my roommate’s needs. I’m a non-smoker, non-drinker, non-partyer, non-religious, and hold liberal values. I value direct communication and mutual respect. I’m looking for a kind, quiet, inclusive, and responsible roommate(s) who is also looking for someone to help create a peaceful home amidst the overwhelming chaos of young adulthood.
