I’d make a great roommate because I’m calm, respectful, and easygoing. I’m a 41‑year‑old veteran who’s experienced a lot in life, which means I don’t judge and I value a peaceful, drama‑free home. I’m comfortable living with male and/or female roommates and I’m totally animal‑friendly—cats, dogs, reptiles, and exotics are all welcome in my book. I tend to keep to myself while focusing on schoolwork, but I’m always happy to socialize if that’s your vibe. I’m what I call an “extroverted introvert”—independent and relaxed, yet friendly and approachable. I’m clean, respectful of shared spaces, and always clean up after myself. Dishes get done, messes don’t linger, and I genuinely enjoy keeping a home clean (steam cleaning is my jam!). My room might occasionally get a little chaotic during intense school periods or when a new video game drops, but outside of that, I’m very considerate. Privacy and mutual respect are important to me—I’ll fully respect yours and expect the same in return. I’m in a chapter of life where I value calm, stability, and forward momentum. I’ve been living with my ex since moving here last June, and after our breakup in August, I’m really looking for a fresh start and a place where I can breathe, reset, and focus on school. Ideally, I’d love to have my dog and cat visit for the occasional weekend, but I completely understand if that’s not something you’re comfortable with—they’re safe and happy where they are, and I can always visit them instead.
