I am starting as a Postdoctoral Scientist at NC State University, Raleigh from December 1. I am urgently seeking a room in Raleigh near NCSU, starting December 1. My preferred room allows me to commute easily to NC State University using public transportation or on foot.

I am open to a single room in a house, a studio, or a one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment. I need a room urgently, I am open to apartments which are not pet friendly also and would take it for short term month-to-month and pay rent upfront before I find my ideal place with my cats. I would have a visitor (mother) who will stay with me for around 10 days. I am seeking a low budget room for now, around 400-800$/month but can go slightly higher. Ideally, the place should be cat friendly & no issues with visitors in my room/apartment and then I will be willing to sign up for long term.
