Just moved back to Houston for the first time since 2018. Grew up in SW Houston and moved to Alaska in 2018. Spent 7 years there, nearly 2 years in Baltimore, MD, and then moved back to Houston in January. I’m currently staying with family but that is a short term solution and I’m looking to explore other options.

I keep to myself, but am very personable and friendly. I’m college educated, don’t smoke (ignore the cigar in my pfp 😅, what happens in NOLA stays in NOLA), and rarely drink. My hobbies usually include hiking, camping, music venues, gaming, and reading.

I currently work as management at Lowe’s, and have been with the company for over 5 years so I have some stability.

I usually meal prep and only occasionally cook outside of that, so I’ll use the kitchen maybe 1 or 2 days a week and can keep my things in a mini fridge in the room, if allowed. I also like to bake and will happily make sweet treats for anyone who would like them.

I get along with all types of people. I am gay, if that matters, and I am in a long distance relationship. There may be times where I’d like to have my boyfriend over for a couple days. He’s a great guy, respectful and personable.

This is something worth mentioning, but don’t write me off if it’s a deal breaker as I have other options! Family is currently housing my dog and can continue to do so for the time being if necessary, but I will mention her in case any prospective roomie would be ok with me bringing her. I have a German Shepherd, she is very friendly and crate trained so she can be put away while I’m at work or, if you have other friendly dogs she gets along well with others. She loves people and I routinely take her out on hikes and walks.
