Need to move in on October 1, 2025. Looking for immediate rental please.

Previously lived in the Tennessee area for 20 years and I’m looking to move back. I have two grown sons. One owns his own home in Nashville and is a software engineer. The other lives near the Pentagon in Springfield, Virginia. Which is why I’m looking in both states. Being retired. I have the luxury of splitting my time if I choose.

Minimum stay will be 6 months.

Diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2016 that took many years to recover from, so I don’t do drama, I do not like hostile situations, arguing and like to live a peaceful life. I’m very quiet, tend to keep to myself yet can be a social butterfly, but I prefer to live with someone that likes to keep things as clean as I do. Even though I’m retired, I’m still active and like to do things and travel. I’m a non-smoker (if you do, I would hope it would be outside), very rarely ever have a drink. If I do it’s typically when I’m out to dinner. I might have one or two a couple of times a year, but I have no issues if somebody socially drinks (or the occasional drink at home) themselves. And I would hope that whoever I would room with, feels free to have friends over for dinner or gatherings as that is their space too.

I would prefer my own bedroom with a bathroom. Although I don’t cook a lot, I would require access to the kitchen and laundry. I could do a furnished place or unfurnished as I have my own belongings I could bring. And I have no issue helping out tidying up the house occasionally with dusting, vacuuming and standard household chores.
