Hey everyone! I’m Sora (he/him, 34). A little about me to see if we’d be a good fit: I’m an openly gay guy who enjoys expressing myself through personal style, especially androgynous fashion. I’m not a huge partier, but I do enjoy the occasional night out, whether that’s checking out a neighborhood dive bar, grabbing dinner with friends, or attending a small gathering.

I’m a creative person and love arts and culture. You’ll often find me visiting museums, attending galas, catching Broadway shows, going to concerts, or checking out the latest movie. I originally lived in South Slope and am looking to move back to NYC after spending the past year road-tripping around the country. Right now, I’m looking for something short-term or month-to-month, though I’m open to something longer if we’re a great fit.

My background is in hospitality, with experience at Union Square Cafe, Carbone, and The Lobster Club, so I love to cook and am always happy to share a good meal and good company. Career-wise, I’m transitioning into the fashion industry. I’ll still be working in hospitality while pursuing fashion opportunities, so I tend to keep busy and maintain a structured routine. I also have a sweet Boston Terrier girl who is friendly, well-trained, and gets along with just about everyone she meets.

While I’m definitely an introvert, I’m not antisocial. I’m not looking for a place that feels like a crash pad where everyone disappears into their room. I value a positive, respectful living environment where roommates communicate openly, genuinely get along, and feel comfortable sharing a home together. I’d love to find a space where I can contribute, settle in, and make it feel like home for all of us. I’m easygoing, communicative, and very clean, especially when it comes to shared spaces. I believe everyone should pull their weight when it comes to having a healthy share living environment, so I’m conscientious about chores and keeping common areas tidy.
