I’m neat, clean, kind, considerate, friendly and easy to get along with. Most people and pets tend to like me. I’m helpful and resourceful and when I have time I enjoy decorating and DIY projects. I can even do minor repairs to include fixing appliances, painting, tiling, building things, some basic electrical, hanging TV’s and ceiling fans, and more. Once I feel comfortable I can definitely be social but I tend to keep to myself. Not that my expectation is to do so within this living arrangement, rather just to give you a glimpse into my personality. I’ve been known to feed my neighbors. I enjoy the beach, shopping, going to church, sports (basketball, football, mma, boxing…) a good show (movie, dinner theatre, Broadway, opera…) hosting parties, playing spades, charades, bocce, playing pranks on close friends/ family and spending time with great people. I’m a mix of many nationalities and Italian is the majority so I enjoy a good glass of wine and jazz music while making my own sauce and meatballs. I can also make some great steaks, chili and wings with a great blue cheese dip that everyone loves, including me, though it’s the only things I can eat with blue cheese in it. I absolutely HATE the taste and smell of blue cheese and it makes me gag. lol. I know, I know… makes no sense until you taste my dip. I’m definitely not the “keeping up with the Jones’” type. I’m confident that I’m enough in spite of my flaws and don’t need to flaunt to feel adequate. I choose not to be around selfish, self centered, insensitive, prejudice, insecure, superficial, arrogant people. I definitely avoid those that have tendencies toward personal aggrandizement, those that choose to oppress others or those that lack the confidence to be themselves and feel they have to conform to the likes of people that society deems to be superior. I’m looking for clean, tidy, warm, respectful, kind and considerate housemate(s). Though I’m ok with becoming friends with my housemate(s) if we both so choose, I am walking into this with the expectation that this is a business transaction. Therefore, though I’m definitely not homophonic and nor do I have a disliking toward the opposite sex rather solely due to past experience I prefer that my living arrangement not be with single heterosexual males or LGBTQ women. I prefer to have a private bedroom and bathroom. An in-law suite, studio or small apartment type set up with my own entrance would definitely be ideal but not a total deal breaker. A POOL IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST. Whether in the back yard or in the neighborhood works for me. *** I respect the choices of other and am non-judgmental. However, for numerous reasons I am not cannabis friendly. Any setting with the presence of it in any form (to include the ability to get a contact high if they walk in the room.😉😆) whether frequent, occasional, medicinal or recreational… it’s a deal breaker for me.
