Description
I’m disabled and use a powerchair. Definitely need a place without any steps, even small ones, or tight hallways/turns. I don’t want to rub paint off walls or worse. No smoking of anything, anywhere please. Prefer an unfurnished room if possible. I have two service dogs. My Lab/Golden mix is my mobility dog and goes everywhere with me. My Border Collie is my Cardiac response dog and helps at home, she also stays there when I go out. Both are sweethearts. I do own one pet, a California kingsnake named King Tut. I’m already his third owner if you don’t count the rescue he was in so he is non-negotiable for me. He does live in a locked enclosure with a key.
If you are still reading, thank you. For a little about me. I will be home, a lot, much more than I will be gone. I’d prefer not to be bottled up in a bedroom constantly. I don’t have to be best friends, but I like to be able to share pleasantries at least. I can’t cook, it’s inedible. My toaster oven and microwave are my friends. I try very hard to clean up everything behind me all the time. If it’s there, it was a medical decision and you’ll get an apology the next time you see me. I also will clean up as soon as I can. Realistically for me that might be the next day or I might crash for three. I find someone who can communicate well, gets my life a bit and we get along. If you are OCD or super neat about shared spaces, I am probably not the right choice. I prefer the quiet when I choose, but love most music when someone else puts it on. I put what little energy I have back into my service dogs. Bonus would be space to play with them in. The few good days a month, I love zoos, aquariums, museums, accessible nature and theme parks.
