Hi! My name is Daniel O’Malley, and I am a 23 male engineer. I’ll be recently graduated with a M.S. degree from UCLA and working in downtown LA. I used to have a 1.5 hour commute and felt my career to be manspreading over all of my waking hours. It was exhausting. I think Sisyphus not to be happy. So now, I’m looking to (at least partial) free myself from the engine of corporate America and have a commute no more than 35 min by public transit.

Yall, why’s housing in LA so cooked?? 😭😭 I want to like follow all my parents advice to build up my financials, but this housing market makes it feel like scooping sand with a pitchfork.

I enjoy rock climbing, anime, and playing videogames/boardgames. I tend to be on the quiet side and love to be out in nature when I can get my butt out the door … with that description you’d think I’m in CS, and I can’t blame you.

I’m happy to room with anyone extroverted or introverted, as long as they can tell me when I’m being too annoying and make reasonable effort to be quiet at sleeping hours. I tend to sleep deep though, so I doubt that’d be a problem. Like a rock. Like probably through a mag 6 earthquake.
