Retired 53 y/o female recently diagnosed with breast cancer - double mastectomy done on 3/31. Have been doing live-in caregiving for 82 y/o father in Renton area for two years. His needs have surpassed what I can provide; other arrangements are being made for him. Looking for a room to rent so I can focus on my own health. I have one medium sized dog who is registered as my ESA. She is a 5 y/o American Bulldog and a love bug. I’m very artistic, crafty, enjoy time to myself but like an occasional house activity like movie night etc. I’m mostly into apocalyptic films, paranormal, and documentaries. I love to cook and make up recipes as I go; mostly soups and casseroles. I would love for another dog to be in the home for my sweet Cleo to have a playmate. A fenced yard would be ideal, as would a ground level bedroom. My dog has had ongoing issues with her ACL on a back leg and struggles with stairs. I retired early due to medical reasons (multiple spine surgeries), which gives me consistent income and makes me available to keep an eye on the house and other animals while roommates may be working. I’m young at heart, 53, BUT tattooed and still rocking my Converse tennys. My daughter is 30, works for Amazon, but has two other PT jobs, so would be visiting only very infrequently (boo). I’m a vet infrequent and light drinker, don’t use illegal drugs, and am 420 friendly though I don’t use it myself.
