I currently live in Louisville KY and want to find a roommate in, or vaguely near Seattle WA to move in with around the end of July when my current lease ends. My current apartment requires a 2 month notice before vacating so i will need to be sure at least 2 months ahead of moving. I can go month-to-month if the room wont be available in time. I want to get to know my roommate(s) quite well before moving so i will ask a lot of questions, and expect you to do the same.

For various family related reasons, among other things ill explain if asked, i want to get out of this hell-hole state (KY). Making sure that i vibe with the people id be moving with is my main priority, and why im searching so far ahead of the move. I dont have a particular location in mind and id even appreciate just talking about potential locations, just somewhere around other forward thinking people.

I am a dude in my late 20s. I like playing/watching people play video games, mostly ARPGs and games with good customization, story, and character design. I follow a lot of artists on bluesky and want to pursue a career in some type of creative field. I have a low social battery but enjoy chill company when im not feeling overwhelmed. I am bisexual and politically left leaning (both stated as to not to be a surprise later). Ive been renting for about 8 years and havent been late for a rent payment. I currently work a decent paying retail job but would like to explore changing careers after moving (but will take any job i can get first). I value my privacy and space, and expect all of us to respect the boundaries we set for eachother.

I am unfortunately allergic to cats. Im not good around inebriated people and dont like cigarette smell, so only do any in moderation and away from the room.
