My partner and I are based in Manhattan but are looking to try out life in Santa Fe for three months. I work remotely in a well-paying role and travel often for work, and my partner is a barista at La Mamá and illustrates children’s books.

We’re low-key, early-to-bed/early-to-rise types who love day trips, good conversation, and the kind of easy laughter that happens when people feel at ease around each other. We’ve both lived solo for a while, but this time we’re hoping to share more than just space—ideally with folks we naturally connect with.

At our core, we’re trying to push back against the hyper-individualism that society tends to reward. We love our downtime and solitude, but we believe in the power of shared economies and intentional community as a form of resistance. If we can build or be part of something like that, even temporarily, we’re all in.

We do have one cat—he’s a big, affectionate goofball with major frat boy energy. He’s used to living in a studio apartment, so we’re open to keeping him contained to a bedroom with an ensuite if that’s preferable.

We don’t smoke but don’t mind if you do. Lee doesn’t drink and I rarely do. We’d call ourselves a solid 7/10 on the cleanliness scale—tidy and respectful, but not precious. We do deep clean! Just a bit less frequently in the summer, if we’re being real.

We’re just looking for a peaceful, welcoming space to ground ourselves while we get to know Santa Fe. Let us know if it feels like we might be a good fit!
