Hi! :)

I’m a student pilot in ground school, an audiobook narrator, singer, and writer looking for a private room to rent in Jamestown or Sonora for myself and my quiet, clean, friendly, adorable orange kitty.

I work full time night shift, and help care for my elderly parents, so I would love something close to work and their house in Jamestown.

I’m a little goofy, play video games, and dance to music while cleaning. I am a nerd. :) If you don’t mind a Star Wars fan, I’d be a perfect fit.

Things about me that make me a great roommate:

—I don’t drink or smoke, and I don’t do drugs. —I don’t bring random people over, and I don’t bring home the party. —I’m clean and don’t leave my things everywhere. —I’m quiet when others are home. —I’m respectful of others personal space and things. I don’t use anything that’s not mine unless given permission. —I don’t leave dirty dishes to rot in the sink. —I clean up after myself, and take part in household responsibilities - like taking out the trash, cleaning, replacing lightbulbs, etc. —I stay to my space since I do everything on my computer when I’m home. I wear headphones so I won’t disturb anyone. —I will help when asked, and where I can. —I clean up after my cat regularly, so the place won’t smell like a litter box. I’m adamant about this. She stays up to date on flea treatments. —I am not a drama queen that will cause major trouble for my roommate. I try to keep my personal problems to myself - though being able to talk to someone about them when it gets to be too much is a mental health thing I’d like. Just someone to listen, ya know? I will be the same for you.

I consider myself to be low maintenance when it comes to needs.

What I require is very simple: —I would need my own personal space with lots of light (dark rooms, and rooms with bars on the windows give me terrible anxiety).

—Windows that won’t let a creepy neighbor watch me when I open the blinds or the window.

—Use of the kitchen. The basics to live. I mostly microwave food, but I will cook pasta and sauté veggies.

—Privacy.

—WiFi (unless the carrier will let me have my own account at the same address.)

—Somewhere safe to lock up my bicycle.

————- Things I’d really like, but are not deal breakers:

—Hardwood floors (easier to clean) —A balcony or outdoor space for myself and my cat to get some of the outdoors. —Central heating and air - not necessary since I have a fan and a space heater, but would be nice). —Corner windows. I love corner windows. :) —Access to laundry facilities somewhere on the premises.

—A pool. —A garage —A spa —A lounge —A gym. —In unit washer and dryer. —A dishwasher. —Housekeeping service. —External storage space. —Use of the living room (I’ll stay to my space) —A parking space. —Central heating and air (I come with my own fan and space heater.)

I am fine with sharing a bathroom, as long as you don’t mind a covered litter box in it that I keep clean.

I use very little in the way of shared spaces.

A roommate I would like is someone who respects me and my privacy, isn’t a drama queen, someone who lets me know if company I don’t know comes over so I can lock my door (I had a roommate who would bring random guys over, and some of my stuff went missing), and someone who is okay with my cat.

As you can see, I have very simple needs, and only a few preferences.
