PREFACE - I am not photogenic, rare that I take a ‘nice’ photo. I specifically seek housing Oakland-Berkeley-Albany. I am not keen to drive my car. I prefer to bicycle to get around.

I would like a place to call home and not just rent a room. Seeking housing between mid-July to early-August 2026. Month-to-month to start would be my preference, and if it ends up being mutually agreeable, I am open to a longer term arrangement. I would like to keep my burn rate down and seek $850-$950/mo rent. IF utilities are included that would be splendid.

I am an engineer, and currently enrolled some professional development machining courses at Laney College. I am also female and middle aged. Occasionally, I 100% telecommute for my work and ongoing research, so hopefully this will bode well with the culture of your household. I go to bed early and wake up early.

I also have a mobile garden in the works which will take about 6’ x 6’ of space. Food insecurity is going to become more of an issue.

VERY IMPORTANT: Can two bicycles be accommodated inside ‘out of sight, out of mind’ the house or a secured area? Although I own a car, I try to bicycle as much as possible for my main means of transport, which means I need to be close to bicycle friendly roads and infrastructure.
