I’m a writer and former teacher. I’m quiet, rational, easy-going, absolutely nonsmoking, and GLBT friendly. I don’t do drugs or get drunk but have an alcoholic beverage occasionally. I’m looking for roommates/housemates who are the same and who are friendly but have their own lives. I have an elderly dog and a cat. My dog is medium sized, about 40 pounds, okay with people and cats and picky about his canine friends. My cat is okay with dogs, would take a while to get used to another cat, and is choosy about her human friends. She hunts rodents but not birds. If you have pets that’s great as long as you take care of them properly and train them appropriately. I don’t care how old you are as long as you act like an adult. I don’t care what gender you are if I have my own bathroom. I’m not a neat-freak but I clean up after myself and expect you to do the same. My room will inevitably be messy but not dirty and as long as you aren’t getting bugs in the house or causing nasty smells I don’t care what your room looks like. I like to do crafts (jewelry making, sewing, t-shirt painting, crochet, etc.). I’m not a big fan of most TV and prefer you to keep your TV’s volume low-ish, and whatever else you listen to, too, mostly. I’m non-religious but if you’re religious that’s fine, just know that I’m not interested unless you want me to convert you. ;-) My moving date is flexible.
