Diamond

Hi everyone, I’m diamond - I’m a 26 year old Black, queer, nonbinary, and neurodivergent human seeking 1-3 roommates in a home along the Brown or Red line. I’m a graduate student in clinical social work, and I will be completing my final year internship in Chicago and hopefully staying in the city.

I’m aiming for an August 1st move-in. Ideally August 15th. My budget is $650 - $850 pre-utilities. Preference for living with folks who are 25+. I’m interested in co-creating and committing to an equitable system for keeping our home clean and tidy. I’m a 420 gyal, but I don’t smoke inside - a home with a porch or patio is a plus. I have no pets, but love them. Highly desire a warm environment with folks who are friendly, community oriented, and who communicate effectively, in ways that embody care.

I am down to jump on a lease or find folks to search with. I am coming from out of state, and unfortunately, I may not be able to meet you and see the apartment beforehand. My credit is great but as I am a grad student in an unpaid internship, I cannot meet income requirements (3x the rent, etc.)

About me: introspective, intentional, grounded I enjoy journaling, watching the sunrise/sunset, cleaning as a means of resetting, yoga, being outdoors, and most forms of music.
