Hardworking individual with a steady job and two cats, looking for a long-term stay. Prefer bills included. If you have cats, I consider that a bonus. Amenable to moving before November 1st, but I need time to gather the security deposit on top of rent. I’m happy to work something out if we can, but I don’t feel entitled to such accommodation.

I work from home two days a week, and I keep to myself. I am partially disabled (not legally) due to a bad back, so some chores are very difficult for me; I am willing to work things out and do whatever I can. I’m a gamer and a writer. I love to sing, but that tends to be hard when you live in an apartment or condo. If I like you, I might be somewhat social, but I’m mostly a hermit.

My 2 cats (both boys, both neutered) are used to having the run of the place. Big Boy (aptly named) will eat other cats’ food, just as a warning, so you might want to shut him out if you have cats too. BB is super friendly with both cats and humans, and he loves having his belly rubbed and loves chasing balls. Yue is pretty shy at first, but he is very chill; he probably won’t be in your room even if the door is open, especially if you have cats. Big Boy, on the other hand, thinks the whole place is his domain.

I have a steady job and have worked there since July 2023, when I graduated from temp to full-time (I was a temp there from September 2021-July 2023). I am very sensitive to loud noises and strong smells (like those plug-in air fresheners). I wear my headphones in my room and I use a fan, which does drown out a lot of noise. I do have a hard boundary of no essential oil diffusers; this is for the safety of my cats, plus they give me headaches due to the volume of the scent. I would really, really like to live with someone who is left-leaning and is anti-racist, and I am particularly amenable to living with fellow POC, but the latter is not a hard requirement.
