Description

Las Vegas NV 89138 1036 Baronet Dr Las Vegas NV 89138

For the past 19+ years I’ve been a single full time dad to 2 awesome kids who r grown and living their lives now. That was the best job I’ve ever had….I was born to be a dad….No, I was born to be their dad. Hats off to any single parent, it’s been taught me so much most of it without even knowing. Multitasking is something I’m mastered and is child’s play for me today. I’ve changed diapers, filled bottles, schedule trades, mixed 2,3 and even 4 part materials….all without spilling a drop. Job safety!!! Every employee, client, designer…or any job site visited I learned to watch out of the corner of my eye. Updating my planner with every detail, job notes with dates times and changes. Nudging second and third parties in order to keep the schedule flowing with target dates and projects in mind. I have a OSHA 30 card I was a medic here in Vegas for 7 1/2 years so triage treatment I think that I can handle. If you’ve ever spent an afternoon at the ER with one of ur children then know exactly what I’m talking about. I love the phrase “It takes a village” but even that has to be managed.
I’ve grown up in the USMC military family. The basis of who I am today come from this, comes from my dad. Book of quotes as I said and everyone of these I can rely on even today. “When you’re in a room speak to everybody in the room” “When you have a serious conversation with someone put yourself in their shoes for just a second so that you fully understand what they’re saying” “The most valuable commodity on the planet today is information but only if it’s accurate” And my favorite…. “Smile”. My father son of the smartest man I’ve ever met in my life not just academically but worldly. He’s a voice in my head that always turns me in the right direction. I once was asked “where did you Matriculate?…. Grown-up I went to military school in Arlington Texas since my last two years of public school in Boston at Westwood what do you mercy the Texas then on to Nixon Durham clay I have degrees in civil mechanical and technical engineering as well as an architectural design degree. I have a paramedic badge 57349, general construction knowledge, awesome people skills and love thinking outside of the box and I love problem-solving. So my answer to that question is still today… I matriculate every day and learn every chance I get. Of all the things that I have on paper listing any accomplishments degrees certificates my badge of honor is as a Parent of the Year Title. In May 2007 I received the only one that really matters to me. I was honored by the Clark county school district office mayors office other entities with parent of the year. Now keep in mind it’s not mom of the year it’s not father of the year it’s parent of the year. So I beat all you moms out there. I had been nominated for three years and was completely unaware until I received a letter one day. But quite frankly that’s when the real work started.
The past few years have been challenged in my face which one is it most difficult health issues I never face. One thing my dad taught me for sure is “If you’re coming….on come on”. I am a cancer survivor stage 2 duodenal cancer. Took some three years but I’ve been in remission since August 2020. Even more challenging was getting back on the saddle after all of this but me and the kids are survivors and we’re looking to kick some more ass!
I’m out going honest trustworthy respectful but firm. I love being part of a team and I’ve always Tribe mentality where if you’re in our circle, you’re covered.
