Aslan Matish

Hello! My name is Aslan amd I am from Kazakhstan. I am incoming freshman at Drake University. I won 100% presidential scholarship, which will cover my tuition only. I won scholarship from the US Department to live abroad for one year and lived in Colorado previousely. I returned to Kazakhstan and I need to return for college to live in Iowa. I had multipple projects and I am winner of several international competiotions and one of them allowed me to work with professor from Stnford University. In my free time I love to play table games and do some cooking. In any place i live i try always to cook my national dish. I hope that my stay in Iowa will bring not only joy, but also culturlal experience.
