Ellie

My name is Ellie, I’m 23 (24 in July) & have lived in Williamsburg for just about a year now. I totally love the neighborhood and want to continue putting down roots here!

I work in HR (recruiting) Monday - Friday for my day job – I’m in office Tuesday through Thursday, WFH Mondays/Fridays.

When I’m not working, I’m writing at my favorite coffee shop — poems, personal essays, and streams of consciousness usually! I’m usually scoping out poetry open mics on the weekend, going to readings/concerts, or having drinks with friends at local dives/chill spots.

As a roommate, I consider myself extremely dedicated to cleanliness and staying respectful of common spaces. I’d love to be friends/friendly with my new roommates! You can find me with my headphones in pretty often, I’m a huge music nerd. I’m usually meeting up with friends outside the home, though I think with reasonable heads up, anyone is welcome into the space! Super into the idea of socializing/hosting at home, but also love to recharge. I’m also big on keeping kitchen/bathroom spaces very very clean— I always do my dishes after eating and wipe down surfaces after cooking. I love a good chore chart. Being intentional and having follow through when maintaining a safe home space is super valuable to me.
