By night, I’m a stand up comedian… and by day, I work at a bakery, decorating cakes 🎂

I’m a 38 year old “starving” artist, divorced w/ no kids, that comes equipped with one cat. I love cooking, cleaning, nature, painting, yoga, reading, dancing… and binge watching TV and movies. My cat and I are looking for a place that would cost less than $1600/month per person (total) but less than $1100/month would be ideal! She doesn’t pay rent, but I have considered getting her an onlyfans account so she can start pulling her weight.

We are both very laid back, non-judgmental and get along with everyone. We are quiet, in terms of I don’t bring friends/dates home, I honestly don’t really know anyone out here yet. I don’t throw parties, or have a temper, and I have always been super kind/considerate of other people.

We’d be happy living somewhere we would rarely see other roommates, and we’d be equally happy becoming best friends with new roomies in a tight space. We are really down for anything!

I work full time, but am currently looking for a new job (shh don’t tell my boss), so I am willing to move anywhere in East/South Florida to relocate. I was a special needs nanny (primarily for kids with Autism) and caretaker to older clients with Alzheimer’s and cancer, for a little over a decade. Cake decorating is something I just got into as a fun day job after the move/my divorce. But it’s not as rewarding as helping people.

My very old, indoor-only cat is not exactly “long for this world”, unfortunately. I adopted her as an adult stray/rescue 10 years ago - she is somewhere between 12-18 years old now. I don’t even know if she is going to be around any more, by the time we move in August… (we can move any time between now-late August) but I am hoping she sticks around. Everyone that meets her says “Your cat is awesome.” And… she really is.

Unlike other cat’s homes I have been to, she (and I) keep her/our areas super clean and smell free. Seriously. She will yell/meow at me if I don’t clean every day. I literally have no fear when it comes to “cat smells” or gross litter boxes from us. I’m tidy, love to clean… but not a type-A neat freak, like her. 🙄 I don’t mind if you have pets, or aren’t as tidy as my cat. I’m care free, easy going and love to help out when asked.

The cat’s favorite things to do is to steal pepperoni off of pizza when no one is looking, sleeping all day, and hanging out with people in general. She loves just being part of the gang. She identifies as human, and can not hunt for the life of her.

-I don’t smoke - but don’t mind if you do. -I do drink, but if you’re sober, I won’t keep alcohol in house, or drink around you. -I am very cannabis friendly ☺️ It is medicinal! -My cat doesn’t drink or smoke, but is also very cannabis friendly, in moderation.

If you aren’t sober, I won’t judge you!

Because, to each their own. I always accept others, just as they are. Everyone has their reasons for being who they are, and who they will become in life. I hate to say this phrase because of its recent popularity on social media, but “we are all on our own journey” and I believe that.

BTW- We are originally from Boston, I moved here last summer after living in the Midwest for a few years…

Personally, -I’d rather live in a tent- in Sarasota, than move back to a house, in the Midwest 😂

Currently looking for something nicer than a tent - but only for my cat’s sake.
