Hey, this is Maha here. I am originally from Dubai, but have been living in Greensboro-Winston Salem, North Carolina for past 3 years then I moved to Illinois since 2024 and has been here ever since. My friends would describe me as friendly, organized, fun, and independent. In my free time, I like to spend my time watching movies, reading or talking to family. On the weekends, I often head out to meet friends, visit local places, do groceries, hike, and rock climb. One of my favorite place to spend time is the library/cafe.

I’m an electronics and communication engineer by trade, and I work a pretty normal 8-5 schedule. During the week, I’m usually in bed by 11:00 and up by 6 a.m. On the weekends, I’m usually asleep by 12 a.m. and up around 8 a.m.

‍I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time. I want my room and shared space to be a place where I can feel safe and be myself. I’m open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. I’m down to get to know each other.

I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.

My monthly budget is $700, and I’m looking to move in sometime during June 1st.

Here are some quirks and relevant information: I’m terrified of pests, and place not being clean like dishes lying around, things lying around the floor etc. (don’t have an ocd). Please let me know if this works. Looking forward to a call or discussion.
