It’s the first time I visite the US and Austin. As a retired high school teacher from Germany (subjects: art and biology) I am very open minded and interested in exchange with young people. I have tickets for the ACL festival, am a musician, and a painter, and want to explore Austin by bike. A friend of mine, Emily, who I learned to know in Germany 10 years ago, lives in Austin since about 9 years. I will meet her and her partner some times but have also two full months to learn to know other people. Cooking is one of my passions as well what is helpful to surprise others and having an opener for conversation. :D And hopefully my English will become better! In my circle of friends there are several gay and trans people, so I am friendly with all kind of queerness. Feel free to ask me whatever you want. Looking forward to an answer. Andi
