My husband and I cook and clean up after ourselves. He’s a baker and I work for the state while I finish my Masters in social work. We enjoy music, art, film, and trips to Longwood Gardens. Neither of us are very exciting which is a quality we prefer in roommates. I take care of my orchids and other plants, read, and host DnD games on occasion. John sculpts, paints, and does music occasionally.

I buy food in bulk which stands to lower your grocery bill - I know where the cheap spices, flours, and other staples are. We also come with five premium streaming services which have open profiles. Google Docs is how we track group expenses like rent, electric, streaming services etc. We would prefer to move in with another couple, but this isn’t a requirement.

The rent for our current place (including utilities and streaming services) shakes out to about $880 per person per month. We’re trying to find a 2+bed / 2bath for $2100/month or less. With three roommates, that, plus utilities and such, would cost about what we’re paying now. We could afford to rent just the two of us, but we want to save money.
