Hi :) My name is Alex, I moved to New York a month ago and I am looking for a place to stay from May 1st or June 1st onwards. Currently living near Delancey Street and I can hardly sleep at night but I am a big fan of the neighborhood and would love to stay somewhere around here.

Workwise, I just finished my PhD on the rights of urban natures (my colleagues call it: the rights of rocks) and got a grant to turn it into a book. For this, I am affiliated with NYU at least until October (likely longer). I already spent three months in the City last year and I was volunteering at a soup kitchen in East village so it would be really cool to continue that. Out of the flat for most of the day most days but I do need a place to come home and relax. That’s why I will definitely not bring the party home at all but would want to talk about guest policies if possible. I have been sharing flats for over a decade now and never had any issues concerning my cleanliness or anything else. If there ever was an issue, I solved it with communication and corruption through my cooking skills (I did my PhD in Tuscany, so there is that). Ah, if you are up for the challenge, I will teach you Watten, the game of my people. Let me know if you have any more questions.
