I’m a 49 year old professional, I’m currently living in Fairfield, CA and for the past 6 years I’ve been commuting between San Rafael, Fairfield, and Sacramento, CA, just to be a present parent in all of my youngest daughter’s activities while working my full time job of 15 years. I’ve been at my present residence for 5 years, and love living here, but I’m trying to eliminate some of my driving, by just commuting 2 days a week instead of 5. My daughter is 13, and she usually stays with me on the weekends since those are my only days off. Since I live in Fairfield and commute to the Bay Area twice a week, she stays with her dad during the weekdays. But she’s a very well mannered girl, as we practice good family values.
