Generally, I am pretty low-key. I respect others space and belongings and would like the same. I have been the caretaker of a home on 5 acres for 9 years. The owner worked abroad and it worked out well. We had our separate areas with the kitchen in between. Great floor plan! But he is going to sell the place and move to Idaho and I have a couple months to move out. I have a wonderful dog. I’ve had him for about 11 years, totally housebroken, the only time he barks is if I’m inside and he’s out in the yard and someone comes up to the gate, and he’s wagging his tail the whole time. Loves to shop at Home Depot/Lowes because he loves people, watching them to see if they make eye contact. He loves little kids, like he knows they share the same spirit. He’s a hoot! One thing though…he was my neighbors pup and he used to chase my cat…and I would chase him away. After my cat passed, he would come down and hang out on my porch by himself. And he is a certified Emotional Support Dog which means he isn’t considered as a “pet”… basically a step down from a Service Animal. I am interested in politics but I am not interested in having heated conversations. I don’t feel the need for anyone to agree with my views and vice versa. Not interested in “in your face” politics. The same with religion. Those are both very personal for me. I’m not religious in the classic sense, but like my politics, I don’t push my spiritual life on anyone else. To each his own.
