HHello! I’m Tanya, a 22F incoming Columbia student from Singapore. I’m looking to move in from 24 Aug 2024 - 24 Aug 2025 (12 months). Looking between 100 - 125th street!

Some details about me :) I studied in Singapore for most of my life before moving to UK for studies; I speak 2 languages - English and Chinese, and I can teach you how to swear in Singaporean English 😂 I love running and exploring new places, super excited to run in the parks of NYC, and would love to find friends to join me as well! Love traveling and exploring new places - love the outdoors and to walk along the city. Some “more relevant” flat facts about me! I’m a clean person who regularly follows the flat’s cleaning schedule - I like to live in clean spaces, and generally don’t touch the living spaces that much unless for socialising/ doing work. I tend to sleep early around 11pm and like peace and serenity around the flat! A typical day for me looks like this: I’ll wake up early around 6am, workout in the morning before heading to university most of the days — you’ll probably see me when I come back to sleep; or if the flat’s having dinner, I’ll be sure to be back early to ‘showcase’ my kitchen skills! (I promise it won’t end up in food poisoning)

What I’m looking for: A non-smoking place that doesn’t throw house parties often (I’m a non-clubber myself); housemates that are clean and respectful of common spaces - I’ve never seen dishes in the sink for long/ let mould take its own life form on dishes in the sink — my personal take is just if you used something, it takes 10s to wash; chill roommates; extra bonus if there’s pets in the house! I’ll run with your dog everyday (if you let me!)
