Jacqueline & Alexandria

Hello! I’m Jackie (she/her, 22) and my fiancee is Alex (she/they, 27). We both fall under the queer, trans, and neurodivergent umbrellas. We are both transplants from the southern US who have been living in rural MA for about a year. Our housing situation will be changing soon, so we are looking for one or more roommates to live with long-term in a vibrant and progressive community. We’d like to live in central Massachusetts, ideally either the Northampton/Amherst area or Worcester. I recently started a part-time remote job in the software industry, and Alex has a degree in Classical Studies and is working toward her teaching licensure, so we’re still working on establishing an income history. However, we do have a good deal of savings and could cover moving costs and other upfront fees, and there’ll be no issues paying rent.

We are generally quiet, tidy, and introverted, but we’d like to get along well with our roommate(s) and spend some time together as a household. We love TTRPGs, board games, video games, cooking and sharing meals together, and overall creating a loving, chill vibe. We both deal with disabilities, mental and physical, and we recognize that a good household operates on interdependence and communication; we’ll be happy to allocate responsibilities in a way that works best for everyone and accommodate our roommate(s)’ needs and preferences.

We are open to pets of all sorts and are hoping to adopt a dog or cat of our own one day. I am allergic to cannabis, so we’d be unable to live with someone who uses it indoors.
