Marsha

My name is Marsha McLaughlin Radford, and I’m in my 60s. I have been working in the entertainment industry since 1987 and I subtitle movies and TV shows for the hearing impaired. I have lived in the same apartment complex near the Joslyn Senior Center since 2011, at first with my husband, who passed away in 2012, and since then with roommates. One of my two roommates moved to Florida to take care of her mom, who has dementia, in February, and the other was a transient actress who has also left. Finding roommates on Craigslist and FB is challenging. I’m hearing from lots of guys and very few women, who probably enjoy a better social network. Now that I am in a 3 bedroom 2 bath, I can keep on hunting for new roommates or… become one and give up the searching. The problem is, I don’t feel like paying for a 3 bed 2 bath by myself, waiting for the perfect two roommates to move in. So I am considering moving and would be willing to move in on April 1st.
