Hey - I actually have an apartment that I’m listing, but figured I’d have better luck messaging roommates. That feature wasn’t available when I made an apartment posting, so made a profile as a Roomie instead. 31yo female! PhD in neuroscience. Love to travel and play ice hockey, and have friends over for a dinner party once a month. I live quietly and invest energy into myself and making my surroundings pleasing.

Here’s my listing: Please message me if you think it’s a good fit: I’ve got a lovely sunny 2bd 1bath in JP, and I’m looking for a roommate for the second bedroom for August 1 (later okay) for $1500. Utilities usually come out to about $200/month. The apartment has got two decks, one of which is fully enclosed in trees and feels like a tree-house. Laundry is in the basement, and there’s a lot of storage space down there too (like a 7x10 space). There’s a dining room, living room, large kitchen, one bathroom, and two bedrooms. The common spaces are fully furnished. The apartment is updated and quite nice, especially for Boston. As for me, I like to have friends over a few times a month, play ice hockey, and travel. I’m gregarious and outgoing in social settings, though I live quietly by anyone’s standards on the day-to-day. I work from home entirely. Given the nature of my job, I need quiet during working hours, and, therefore, would prefer someone who works in-person (negotiable depending on lifestyle). I’m an avid runner, and I usually leave the house by 6am to run, so am usually in bed by 9pm. Quiet hours during 9am-530pm and 9pm onward is unfortunately one of my dealbreakers, and understandably will rule out many very reasonable roommate suitors. Dealbreakers aside (just trying to be transparent!), I’m a very sweet, sincere, and emotionally open person. I’m looking for the right fit in a roommate.
