Is Ivern unplayable below Diamond?

Hi, I’m an Ivern main in plat 3.

All (100%) of my games go as follows: My teammates get very ahead with my support and ganks. We get 4-6 grubs. We get the first 2 drakes. We are up 10 kills.

Then something magical happens. My carry, the guy who’s killing the most, goes insane. He thinks he’s immortal. He thinks he is the only reason why he was able to 1v3. He forgets about Ivern supporting him by his side.

He then goes in 1v3 and dies instantly. The enemy team gets a couple of turrets and Baron. All downhill from here.

We end up losing the game with a score like 29-15 in our favor.

I know I’m bad, I’m aware of this. But this scenario does not happen when I play more standard junglers.
