My name is Melissa and I am looking for roommates. I am a CIS Female (she/her), queer and bi-racial (Japanese and White). I’ve been working full time at a frame shop for over 4 years and plan to stay for several more years. My schedule is Tues-Sat from 8am-4pm. I’m an early-riser and a daily bed-maker. I love a neat and organized environment.

My bike is in my vehicle in all weather, unless it’s unsafe like in ice and snow. I love having a low carbon footprint and saving money by having my bike as my transportation.

I am a creative person with a regular art practice, including selling my work and exhibiting it in coffee shops and galleries, and a regular yoga practitioner, focused on wellness, healing and growth. I am clean, quiet, respectful, and a direct and kind communicator. I enjoy reading, watching movies, doing art, cooking, and chatting one-on-one with friends or in small groups. When the weather gets warmer, I love going to outdoor dancing and theater events in the parks around the city and picnicking with friends which sounds similar to things you enjoy too. I love hosting a get-together in my home such as a movie night with friends. I’m more introverted, but I do love being with good friends such as going to a weekly art and crafts group every Sunday for about 2 years now.

I am looking for clean, kind, respectful, low-key, and friendly roommates where we have time to hang out, and also be on our own for quiet time, doing our own things. When I find a good place to make my home, I stay for several years. For the past 6 years, I have been living with roommates in 2 different places for about 3 years in each place. I’ve enjoyed living with my current roommates, but the rent is getting too high for my income.
