Description

Hi! I’m Brooklyn, and I have an eleven year old Chiweenie, Bentley. I’m looking for a place to share with female roommate(s) beginning late spring/summer. I’m all about establishing healthy communication and expectations early on in relationships, so here is a thorough overview of what I’m looking for in a housing situation:

My preference would be a house/townhouse with a small fenced in yard for Bentley, and an attached garage. I’m a huge homebody with boujee taste; I enjoy interior design, a very clean & organized home, without clutter, and a neutral esthetic. I would love to find a roomie with similar preferences! I am open to multiple central locations including Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa, and surrounding areas. Bentley is the definition of a lap dog and loves to cuddle with his people. He does get along with most other dogs once he warms up to them, but in his older age he prefers smaller older dogs like himself. I’m relocating to Arizona for work; my schedule will be remote 3 days/week and in the office 2 days/week so I would like to find a place with a shared office space that can also be used as a guest room and workout room, available for all roommates use. I’m originally from Washington State, but I attended ASU so I’m familiar with the area. Being from Washington, I don’t particularly love the heat and prefer to keep the house cooled between 69-71 degrees.

Lastly, once I get settled into my new job/house, I would love to begin the process to become a respite foster parent. (Respite care is temporary and typically for short periods of times such as a few days) In an ideal situation, I would love to have roommate(s) that would be interested in periodically helping with these efforts, however, I would never expect someone to help provide child care unless it’s something they wanted to be apart of. With that being said, at a minimum, all adults living in the home would need to pass background checks in order for the home to be able to gain licensed to care for foster children.

If you’ve made it this far and think we might be a good match, reach out! I’d love to chat more 🥰
