My name is Max and I am visiting grad student at UCSD for my Master thesis. I sub-rented a room for the past five month and now look for a new place as the person which I sublented from is moving back in. Initially I am looking for a place for six month as I do not know if I will stay in SD after that period. A little something about me, I am 25 years old and from Germany. I love to surf which is one of the reasons why I decided to move to San Diego. My passion for travelling lead me to a couple of countries over the last years like New Zealand, Australia, Morocco and some more. At the moment I am focusing on my thesis but this should not get in the way of also having a lot of fun in San Diego 🙂 I also enjoy cooking and photography, in both areas is still some potential for improvement though. I am a social person and love to interact with my roommates but I think it is also important to give each other space when someone wants some quite time for themselves. I lived in shared accommodation for the past six years and became good friends with my previous roommates along the way. I am also happy to answer any questions you might have about me and how I envision our flat life to be. Budget-wise I am looking for something around 1800$. As I do not have a car and getting one for only a couple of month does not seem feasible, I am looking for a place that is in cycling distance to the UCSD campus.
