I’m Joe. I’m looking for a 6-12 month stay in Durham or a nearby area. I’ll be relocating from out-of-state in August and want to keep costs down while I look for a house and wait for my SO to follow me out here in Q2 ’27.

In most ways, I’m the ideal roommate - clean background, good credit score and a good job. I’m clean but not obsessive, friendly but keep to myself. Just looking for a roommate to split costs because the rent is too dang high!

There’s one (big) catch - I have a large dog, Moose, a Pyrenees mix. He’s housebroken and generally quite friendly with both people and other dogs, so I’d love another roommate with a dog, and definitely need someone who likes dogs. No cats, sorry - I’m allergic and Moose doesn’t get along. We’ve both got years of experience living with other people, and dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and can provide references for previous roommates and private landlords.

Drugs and Alcohol: Although I occasionally will have one or two beers out with friends, I typically don’t drink at home and can easily accommodate a situation where there’s no alcohol at the home. My job is regulated by the FAA and I’m drug tested regularly, so I don’t do drugs.
