Hi, I’m a long-time Seattle resident (originally from midwest) looking to downsize and find a clean, quiet, safe place to live with another woman or two. Also open to joining forces to rent a house.

I’ve lived on Queen Anne for most of the time I’ve been in Seattle, but have also lived in Maple Leaf and in Magnuson Park area.

I’m a non-fiction writer, and I like getting outside every day for walks and to swim in Lake Wa (year-round). I’m veganish but sometimes eat fish (which I don’t need to do if I have a strictly vegan housemate). I don’t drink, smoke, or use drugs. I’m current on all COVID vaccines. I work at home, so I like having solid internet. I’m a liberal democrat, I care about the environment, and I want everyone to be free to live authentically. I have several long-term friends in the area, and am always looking to expand my circle. I try to practice kindness, patience, and compassion.

I like the idea of having a roommate I could have dinner with sometimes or hang out with, but I’m also big on respecting privacy and don’t expect to be besties. I need a roommate who is respectful, able to talk about how to best share the space, good about being safe (locking doors, etc.), drama-free.

I have asthma/allergies, so hoping to find a cat-free, fragrance-free, smoke-free home with mostly wood/uncarpeted floors. I’m happy to complete the Roomie background check if I find a match. Likely start date August 1.
