I’m very organized and creative, I make every space beautiful and homey. I enjoy cleaning so I regularly go through to make the house glow and I try to stay tidy between those times too. I’m laid back and friendly but sometimes want to keep to myself.

I am looking for three bedrooms to split with one other person. I would take two of the rooms and pay a higher percentage of rent unless you wanted to get a place outside of my budget and were willing to pay a higher rate for it! I’m flexible on location as long as we can work with my budget. I have children who visit in the summers and sometimes at other long school breaks like spring break or the holidays. They are good, respectful, funny, sweet kids! They like to play on their tablets, watch shows, go to the park, visit friends, read books, and make art. They live in Texas with their dad for most of the year.

I dabble in all sorts of artistic endeavors: collage, mural, acting, poetry, songwriting. My art desk is sometimes full of stuff before I organize my materials back into shelves and drawers but I keep the mess contained to the desk. I work part time at a daycare. I am passionate about building a community and gathering people together. I love hosting dinners and game nights. I am polyamorous and a very open kind of person, both in the sense of being honest and transparent and in the sense of being open-minded.

I drink socially and am cannabis friendly, but I avoid it for myself (it makes me anxious these days). If my roommate is cannabis friendly, I just need it to be out of reach for when my kids are in town, or when my friends with kids visit.

I am spiritual but not religious with my upbringing in Mormonism and I am currently lightly exploring a Buddhist practice in the Soto Zen tradition. I like to practice and study tarot and astrology as well. I take a depth psychology approach to my spirituality.

I do not have a car or bike so I don’t need whatever parking space is available. I may need a place that is good walking distance from a grocery store.

I know taking on a single mom roommate might sound like a lot but we are an awesome family!
