Trevor in a Nutshell: I just moved to the Puget Sound last fall after returning to school and earning my BA in History at the University of California in Davis. I am currently staying with family until I find a place to rent. I am in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend in California, and I need a place to live for 1 - 2 years as she and I plan our future together. I’m hoping to find a place by the end of April or May. Some words to describe the kind of person I am: dedicated, determined, multifaceted, practical, eccentric, hard-working, thoughtful, honest, nerdy, and a little pretentious (my girlfriend says so anyway, and I trust her judgment).

About Myself: I work as a cabinet maker for a small woodworking and design company in Kent (I have not included the name of said company so that I do not accidentally provide their information to unfriendly entities and create problems for my team) where we build custom cabinetry and do general renovation throughout the Puget Sound. I love to build stuff and I take commissions so let me know if you have any ideas on how you would like to improve your home ^_^

I’m also a martial artist with 20 years of experience (karate, krav maga) so I can also act as household security if necessary, but hopefully you all don’t have to worry about that.

For fun I enjoy exercising, writing (mostly non-fiction and fantasy. Hoping to finally get published this year!), cooking, reading, camping, playing Dnd (I am a dungeon master if you all are into that sort of thing), watching movies, having video dates with my girlfriend, and deep conversations about philosophy, history, psychology, art, and other subjects of a generally nerdy disposition.

Self-improvement is a big deal for me. I came from less fortunate circumstances in many ways so I am regularly working on myself through therapy, exercise, reflection, and prayer (Pagan) so I can be the best version of myself I can be for my family.

As a Housemate: I believe everyone needs a safe and healthy place to return to when the day is done, so I recognize the importance of doing what is necessary to maintain mutual respect and appreciation when sharing a home. I have lived with housemates many times over the course of my life, and I see doing so as being part of a team: keeping a home healthy, like keeping a shop running, requires work, respect and trust between the people you share your space with, and regular maintenance. This is the attitude I would endeavor to bring to the house.
